The scholarship covers travel expenses, living allowance, tuition fees, visa costs, and health insurance for the duration of the 24-month program.

What are the requirements for Wageningen University Africa scholarship Program?
Below are the Wageningen university scholarship requirements;
- Applicants must be citizens of an African country.
- Candidates must have submitted an application for a master’s programme at Wageningen University & Research before the specified deadline.- Admission to the MSc programme must be unconditional.
- Applicants should have an outstanding academic record, holding a First-Class Honours degree with a GPA of 80% or higher in their bachelor’s studies.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have not yet earned a master’s degree.

This scholarship is a fully-funded financial aid which means that all aspect of the student’s finance are being funded by the university, the scholarship covers;

Wageningen University Scholarship Application
Below are the steps to apply for the Wageningen University Scholarship;
- Apply for an MSc program at the university before 1 February of the year.
- If you are invited to apply (you received an invitation email on 13th March). You need to submit an assignment.
- Once you have been selected, you will be prompted to attend an online interview. After the interview, successful candidates will be contacted for the scholarship award.
Wageningen University Scholarship Deadline
Below are the important deadlines regarding the scholarship;
- 1 February: Deadline to apply for an MSc programme.
- 13 March: Invitation of selected candidates to take part in the further selection process (approx. 40 candidates will be selected).
- 25 March: Deadline for the assignment.
- 8 April: Decision about invitation for online interviews communicated (approx. 20 candidates will be interviewed).
- 22 April – 1 May: MS Teams interviews.
- 8 May: Results of the selection process communicated.
